From: Stephen Lumb, Homeowner May 1, 1998

Dear David:

As you know, your crew paved my driveway yesterday. I know that with all of the small areas, curves, etc. that it was not the easiest job that they have done, but the results were exceptional. They obviously take great pride in their craft. There was not one part of the job that I could even think of criticizing; it was perfectly aligned, there was no evidence of material left outside of the paved area on the lawns, not even any area where a truck or the paver had strayed onto the grass. That takes not only a very high skill level, but show that they were thinking every moment.

Further, when I went out to "check the job out" while they were working, every member of the crew was friendly and accommodating. Further, they were working hard and fast with an obvious teamwork that comes from good training and good leadership.

Please pass this on to the crew that did the job.

From: Robert Duncan, Chief & Richard Wyman, President J.H. Ketcham Hose Company, Inc. February 14, 1996

Dear Dave:

On January 1, 1996 at 6:58 am, the J.H. Ketcham Hose Company was dispatched to a fire at the Poly-Tech Recycling Corp. on Route 22, Wingdale, NY.

It was not until the first responding units arrived on the scene that we would realize the amount of resources that would be required to suppress this fire. As the incident progressed from hours into days, hundreds of firefighters would be called to the scene enduring snow and frigid temperatures for six days.

These firefighters could not have accomplished this mission without the support of not only the businesses and organizations in the town of Dover but those in the surrounding towns as well.

The Poly-Tech fire is now on record as the largest mutual-aid fire in Dutchess County, with forty-two fire companies and over three hundred firefighters responding to the scene.

The officers and members of the J.H. Ketcham Hose Company, Inc. thank you for your generosity and support in our efforts at the Poly-Tech fire.

From: Phillip Shatz, President Beekman Country Club, LLC July 7, 1995

Dear David:

I want to compliment you and your crew on the job you did putting in the cart paths at Beekman Country Club. The price was very fair and the performance of the work was spectacular. You brought in a large crew, good equipment, and what we expected to be a three week job was done in less than a week. In all respects, the work was superb and the attitude of your people was excellent.

I want to thank you especially for the courtesy, or gift if you will, of putting in the pathway from the clubhouse to the golf driving range, for which you did not charge extra. That was what I call going the extra mile.

I would be more than pleased to give a reference to anyone for your firm.

From: Jack Wheeler Wheeler Homes October 21, 1994

Dear Dave:

This is only my third letter of this nature in 34 years in the building business. I obviously do not send letters and accolades on a good job but only on an exceptional one.

You had bid and been awarded a very difficult job of extensive road repair at Stream side. You had said it could take two to three days to complete the project With all my experience in land development I thought this was a most certainly overly optimistic estimate by at least half. I was hoping your estimate was better than mine as we were under a critical time schedule to finish this job in order to turn the road and utilities over to the Village before the winter.

When you mobilized and descended on my job site I could only equate it to our U.S. Military mobilizing and landing in Kuwait. I never saw so much equipment, material and manpower show up on the job in my 34 years in the construction business. It not only shows your excellent management skills but also the exceptional skills of your field managers as well. These skills were certainly evident and reflected in the work of each person on the job. This was the best example of team work and logistics that I have witnessed in the construction business. The job, as you know, was completed in two and a half days and the most professional job I have been involved in to date. The job was finished, cleaned up and the only evidence you were there was the fact that the blacktop was newer than when you came.

You should be very proud of everyone that was involved in this job. Of course, this reflected very well not only myself, but our investors as well.

We were very fortunate to have selected your firm to do the job and most certainly would recommend BTM to anybody that needs a professional job completed.

From: Wayne Frenzel, Director of Operations Cardinal Hayes Home for children October 21, 1998

Dear Dave:

Your company recently completed the installation of a new 6" water main line at the Cardinal Hayes School in the Village of Millbrook. The work included a 6" wet tap on the Village 10" main, running 140 feet of 6" line on Rt. 44 and then approximately 360 feet of 6" line, including a fire hydrant, on our property.

I would like to commend your staff that did this work. They were professional, extremely neat, and exacting in the installation. The work required crossing a neighbors driveway and not a complaint or hardship was experienced. Your men diplomatically handled the situation.

The men involved in this project are Steve Sabellico, Andy Velletri, Mike Mooradian, and Kevin (sorry I don't know his last name). A heartfelt thanks to these men from our agency, they did a fine job.
